The JAC Chandigarh Counselling strictly follows the reservation guidelines mandated by the Chandigarh Administration and the Government of India. The total seat matrix for Chandigarh's premier technical institutes is broadly divided into two major pools: the 85% Chandigarh Quota (for local students) and the 15% All India Quota (for outside students).

Chandigarh Quota (85% Seats) Breakdown

Candidates who have passed their 12th standard qualifying examination from schools or colleges located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible for this quota. The category-wise reservation within this 85% pool is as follows:
